Sustaining IT workplace culture

When the COVID-19 crisis bore down on us in mid-March, Digital Network Solutions seamlessly transitioned to remote working due to the flexibility of the systems we already had in place. VPN, Remote Desktop Services and Office Online have all played their part in allowing us to adapt to the changing world around us.

It may sound obvious but communicating and sharing information has become even more important than before.  It’s human nature to want to hear about what is going on in and out of work. At DNS we continue our weekly meetings to ensure our close working relationship is maintained. This allows us to continue to develop and improve our offering whilst maintaining the high service levels our customers come to expect.

The Office for National Statistics reported, 49.2% of adults in employment were working from their homes.

Our technology solutions and services have allowed our customers to adapt quickly and continue to function effectively in the new work environment. The majority of our customers were already ‘remote ready’ and benefited from our professional, data collaboration services. Our experienced team transitioned hundreds of users across the country to work from home and continue to support their day to day work wherever that may be.

When COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, we will enter the new ‘Normal’. The digital and physical worlds will run side by side allowing users to switch from one to the other, seamlessly. As a business at the core of this new world technology, we will guide and assist our customer’s future business needs for many years to come.
